I heard ol Gustav headed your way. Great shot of the lake. That makes me feel like paying Chicago a visit. They just renovated one of the old hotels we like there.

Bobbie and Louise - Yesterday evening, the report on the National Hurricaneima Center web site still listed Gustav as a tropical depression and said it was "beginning to lose tropical characteristics." I used that as a basis for referring to the storm as TD Gustav.
imac - Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't feel that the photo really captures the choppiness of Lake Michigan yesterday.
FC - Yeah. I hope that you don't get to know Ike.
cedrorum- If you get out this way, you need to let me know. There's a musueum you have to visit.
Roy- Actually, the remains of Gustav were much more of a rain event than a wind event for us.

I can't believe Gustav made it to Chicago. That was one determined storm! Love the color of the water in your stormy picture.
This shot makes me see why they always use Chicago to depict Gotham City! FIERCE!!

We are to get torential rains tomorrow (Saturday). I suspect it is what is left of Gustav.
That was some rain. Glad we got it minus the wind!
We've had it here, too. Cold, rainy, not very nice - but good for the garden!

So, Gustav made it as far as Chicago? Looks like a day to stay inside and read a good book! Nice Skywatch. I like the wave crashing on the shore.
