Media Madness

I'm quoted in a butterfly article in the Bloomington (IL) Pantagraph. Everybody seems to have problems describing the chrysalis.

I thought of you over the weekend, Doug. I was watching a standup comic (Regan?) and he talked about going to a butterfly exhibit. I could not help but wonder if it was yours.

Even the world of butterflies and parasites changed after 9/11. Who knew? It's a dangerous world out there in the wetlands and prairies.

Lem- That's pretty funny, thanks for thinking of me. This sort of exhibit is becoming fairly common, so there are plenty of places he could have been. If he said the exhibit was really good, it was probably ours ;)

Spo- Pffft!

Robin- That was an odd aspect of the article. This rule was in place and widely known prior to 2001. What happened was that all government agencies, including the USDA, tightened their regulations and enforcement after the attack on NYC.
